Got back to the fair a couple years ago and though I'm almost 50 yrs old I still loved the trains. | Comments: | Spent my early years attending "The Fair"and Always enjoyed Ben and his railroad as a kid.Had the privlage to sing the "National Anthem"at The Clay Co. Fair in the late 60's to mid 70's but ALWAYS found time to go thru the train building.I left the Area in the late 80's and now reside in Easley SC Ben's train inspired me to the point I have my own railroad in our basement with its own "Train Room"Called the "R and R Express"(not near as fancy as Ben's) we felt it is a quite proper name with my name being Rick and my wife's name Retta.We still talk about Ben's Trains and KICD Radio Great Memories!!!!
