There are 9 greens all the same color grass. Trying a couple of different colors grass for the course. Sand traps don't show up very well, but the water does. Have just cut in the one water pond so far but tomorrow will add more water holes. The greens are at different levels. Will place trees and rock piles and plaster around the homosoat sections to make gradual inclines later. It was difficult to get the greens to have slopes to them. Hole one and two are level, and discovered that is not the way I want it, so went to work on the rest. May redo those two later. A lot of work to do yet. The first green tee off is at the bottom of the picture, over the lake to the left green. Green #2 is to the left in the picture. #3 and #4 go all the way to the end of the area. #5 and #6 back to the center. #7 is to the right of #5 and #8 is next on the way to the last hole. I am getting close to finishing the golf course. Have to make about ten to
fifteen golf bags and clubs sticking out of the bag. Using the covering to
10 gauge wire and cutting it to the length that looks like a golf bag.
Plaster in one end. Using small gauge wire, covering removed, 90 degree
bend in one end. Hammering the bent end flat and then trimming it to look
like the head of a club. Painting the wire covering to show up well on the
course. The figures that I bought only had one guy holding a golf bag. So needed bags and clubs for the other players. Notice the two bags laying near the green in the attached picture. Worked on the blacktop road to the east of golf course. Leveled it out and filled the crack between it and the course. Painted on a center line for the road east of course up to the train repair shop.
